Service, repair and MOT work
LPME maintains and repairs the full range of Land Rover vehicles, including Series models, Defender, Freelander, Discovery and Range Rover. By focusing exclusively on Land Rovers, the team is able to provide specialist attention and high-quality servicing tailored to each vehicle.
MOT tests can also be arranged while vehicles are in the workshop for servicing, making the process convenient for owners.
Keeping these vehicles running reliably requires genuine knowledge and hands-on experience – something the team possesses in abundance, both professionally and through their own ownership and use of Land Rovers.
Recommissioning and restorations
The workshop also undertakes projects to recommission and restore older vehicles. Whether bringing a long-stored Land Rover back onto the road, or giving a well-used vehicle a much-deserved new lease of life, every project is approached with careful attention and quality craftsmanship.

Engine and gearbox rebuilds are regularly completed in-house, and the workshop’s own paint booth allows body and paintwork to be restored to a high standard. The goal is always the same: to return cherished or neglected vehicles to their former glory, ready to be enjoyed once again.

Modifications and upgrades
LPME also offers a wide range of modifications and upgrades. This can range from practical improvements such as adding power steering to a Series Land Rover, installing a winch or roof tent, or creating more personal touches such as custom upholstery – including family tartan for seats and door cards.

Customers are always welcome to discuss their ideas with the team over a cup of tea or coffee, and will receive thoughtful, experienced advice on the best approach for their vehicle. Most of the staff drive their own Land Rovers daily and regularly use them for off-roading and adventure travel. This shared enthusiasm provides a wealth of real-world knowledge that informs the work carried out in the workshop.
