Haddenham Classics was founded in 2021, by Lee Jones, an avid car enthusiast with a 1991 Rolls Royce Silver Spirit 2.
The club has quickly become the go-to local group for those passionate about timeless automobiles. The Haddenham Classics' monthly meet, held on the last Saturday of each month, at Bradmoor Farm, has now put Haddenham, Buckinghamshire very firmly on the automotive map, attracting a regular turnout of more than 50 vehicles and sometimes reaching a staggering 160, when the sun is out!
Buoyed by the successes of 2023, Haddenham Classics is gearing up for an even more thrilling 2024 and beyond. With a new logo and website, the club is set to become a positive presence in the Buckinghamshire automotive community.
Haddenham Classics is not merely about showcasing beautiful old machines. It has evolved into a force for good. In July 2023, Lee Jones partnered with David Banes, founder of the Hellfire Motor Vehicle Club, High Wycombe, to create Men with Machines CIC. Our not-for-profit Community Interest Company addresses the pressing issues surrounding men’s mental health, particularly among the older demographic. By fostering a community centred around motoring and classic cars, Men with Machines provides opportunities for socialising and support – to all genders. It also delivers the structure, organisation and management for our club brands, to which Haddenham Classics now belongs, along with Hellfire Motor Vehicle Club, Coffee and Conrods and the Association of Motor Vehicle Event Organisers (AMVEO).
Haddenham Classics has also teamed up with TP Smart Repairs in Aylesbury, to host workshops on car painting, offering car fans valuable insights into the craft. Looking ahead, 2024 holds the promise of additional partnerships with local businesses, expanding the repertoire of talks and workshops to provide an enriching experience for our members.
Haddenham Classics has also extended its brand into merchandise, including hats, mugs, and hoodies. This move aims to create a sense of community affiliation and pride. As the club takes shape, contributing members can anticipate benefits such as priority booking for future events and talks. You can join Haddenham Classics here.
I'd just like to say a huge thank you to all those who have helped me in the process of developing Haddenham Classics. From marshalling at meets, to assistance with branding, I could not have done it without you. Your input is much appreciated.
I would particularly like to thank David Banes and The Crew, Dave Robinson, Bradmoor Farm, Stuart Buckland and Imran Samad.
